All good things, or so we are led to believe, must come to an end. This blog does not exactly qualify as a "good thing", but today it's come to it's end.
When I first started SilentGriot in April of 2006, I had no idea how long it would remain open. 455 posts later, it is clear to me that the time has come to shut 'er down. You see, I've got nothing to say.

Sorry to see you go, JS... I've enjoyed your writing, especially your posts about Tanzania, but all of it, really. I hope when you build up another stock of things to say that you resume posting.
